The Shadowbrook Farm Stay

Welcome to the Shadowbrook Farm Stay. Tucked in the rolling hills of upstate New York, this 1700's Shaker barn has been restored into a beautiful guest house. It sits upon a two hundred acre working pasture-raised beef, pork, and poultry farm. This barn was used to hold and milk cows for two hundred and fifty years.

 

Guests will have access to farm lands which are highlighted on the maps provided in the guest booklet. Farm tours are also available upon request. There is always a variety of cute animals to visit with!

The Space

​

The barn is set with a very open floor plan - essentially one large room (besides the bathroom). There is bed space for four: a very high loft with a king bed, and a bunk bed down stairs in the back corner. This space could potentially sleep more than four. The building is heated solely with radiant heat. It has a fully functional kitchen with beautiful maple counter tops. Cabinets and other decorations are all shaker inspired. There is a large fireplace and also a stone fire ring on the patio, both of which can be stocked with wood.

The television is run off of the WiFi - it is a smart TV. Guests may sign in to their respective accounts on the various media apps. If not, arrangements can be made.
